Wednesday's Schedule

10:00 am - 10:00 pm

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

We will depart the house/hotel around 10am and head into Hamburg via train from Bergedorf or Nettelnburg. In the city we will do a harbor cruise, visit the Alster, Hamburg's Rathaus etc. Lunch will be "on the go". For those that don't feel like walking all day, there are plenty of cafes for relaxing and people watching. Around 5pm we will head to the St. Michaeli's Church. Group tickets to go up to the top of the tower are 6 Euro. It is a great view of the city - weather permitting of course. https://www.st-michaelis.de/en/ Dinner is at the Krameramtsstuben (easy for me to say :) ) at 6:30pm. We have to let the restaurant know by noon what we'd like to eat, so I will take everyone's order while we are on the train to the city. Price for the 3 course dinner is 58 Euro. On Thursday we will stay in the Reinbek/Bergedorf/Geesthacht area. Dinner is at 7pm at Zur Alten 16. This will be a white asparagus dinner with potatoes and choice of Schinken, pork tenderloin, salmon. Price for the 3 course meal is 58 Euro https://zuralten16.de/

Saturday's Schedule

We want to sleep an extra hour, so start time will be around 11:30am. We will head into the city, maybe do a Alster cruise. Lunch will be "on the go". Dinner is at Laufauf (word play on the German word Auflauf, meaning Casserole) at 6:30pm. We can order from the whole menu but have to send the order in 2 days in advance. I have the menu in English, please help me remember to get everyone's order on Thursday. https://laufauf.de/ After dinner we will head over to Planten un Blomen, Hamburg's botanical garden, for the light/water symphony which starts at 10pm.
