What's the dress code?

We're aiming for a 'Formal Summer Garden Party' vibe. Think summer dresses, linen suits, smart-casual (more smart than casual!) chic. Please keep in mind that bridesmaids will be wearing hot pink.

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! We are hoping, weather permitting, for our ceremony to take place in Halecat Houses' lovely garden. Rest assured, we have a contingency plan in the form of a marquee. The reception and dancing will be inside of a marquee.

What are we going to eat!?

Answer

We're hoping that nobody will be feeling hungry at any point! After our ceremony, we are putting on some cocktails and light bites before we all treat ourselves to pie and mash. In the evening, a pizza van is rolling in to help us soak up the excess tequila, lime and soda.

Are plus ones and children allowed?

Answer

We would love to have as many people as we could squeeze in at the wedding, but we are - unfortunately - limited in numbers. If your invitation specifically mentions a plus one or your children, then they are warmly welcomed. Otherwise, we've planned for a more intimate celebration.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We'd love to leave the photos to our photographer during the ceremony, but please take all the photos you can afterwards! Disposable cameras and video cameras will be provided!

Is there parking?

Answer

There will be extremely limited on site parking and we would prefer if our guests would not travel by car to the venue. Please let us know if you plan on needing to find a parking space and we will do all we can to make sure one is available.

Are there any plans for the day after the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We'll be meeting for a relaxed early Sunday Roast at a nearby pub in Witherslack - The Derby Arms - on the day after the wedding - 12:30pm. If you do wish to join us at this, please let us know when you RSVP, and we'll keep you updated. We'd love to continue celebrating with you!

If you scroll down to the bottom of this page, there is a box for you to enter your first or last name. If you are attending as a couple or a family, if you pop your family name into the box, you're invite should appear!
