Though they hadn’t met before, Moua had been Lucy’s Facebook friend since 2021 and had already felt a quiet curiosity about the girl behind the screen. That weekend, something special began to unfold. Moua had come to Tulsa with one goal in mind: to play in the soccer tournament and enjoy time with his friends. Lucy, on the other hand, had traveled there simply to celebrate the Hmong New Year. But neither of them expected that this trip would mark the beginning of something unforgettable.
