Roundtrip Chartered Bus - Wedding

You are welcome to drive or Uber to our wedding site, however we’re offering a shuttle for the 20min drive. We hope this will allow you to enjoy your time carefree. The venue is accessible through well maintained highway roads; it’s more reliable to book a Uber/lyft to the site than it is to book a return one. If you arrive via Uber/Lyft please be prepared to return via our chartered bus or schedule a ride back. The bus will depart promptly from The Golden Hotel in downtown Golden at 3pm. There will only be one bus departure. The bus will have one early departure from the party at 8:30pm and then one final departure at 10pm (when the event ends)

We’re so excited to share Golden with you! We believe there is lodging for everyone’s preferences; however we’ve decided against a dedicated hotel block. There are several great hotels right downtown, but Golden is unique and has tons of Airbnb / Vacation rentals that might suit your family better. Being a smaller town, we recommend you book lodging early. Golden is very walkable and all our weekend events are downtown and likely walkable to where you stay! Connect with the bride or groom on recommendations!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! There are several options and you are free to choose whichever works best for you. We will be offering chartered transportation to and from the event. Golden, CO is a charming, walkable town. There are Ubers/Lyfts in the area if you prefer that option We are offering a Chartered Bus with strict departure times for ease! While taking Ubers/Lyfts TO the venue is easy, we’ve heard getting them from the mountain venue back into Golden can be timely, and we don’t want any of you stranded while the party keeps on keeping on. Welcome to drive and park your vehicle on site as well.

What should we wear?
Answer
Cocktail Attire / Semi-Formal but really as long as you feel good, we feel good! Colorado weather is temperamental; weather permitting the ceremony will be outdoors (hopefully in the sunshine!). Layers is key to comfort in the mountains.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! The ceremony/reception are both at Woodlands and there is onsite parking, we recommend taking the chartered bus to fully enjoy your evening without the stress of traveling in the mountains. We want you to be safe. Leaving vehicles overnight is allowed: pickup must be before 11am next day
