We met working part time at Target. Noah had been working there for a year before I came along. After a couple months, I had gotten comfortable in my role at Target and with my coworkers...especially a certain someone. We joked around at work and texted every day—we couldn't wait for our next shift together. By January of 2020 we were a couple!

As a graduation gift when I finished at Biola, we went to England and France—we being myself, Noah, Mom, and Aunt Shelly. Little did I know that those three had been planning and strategizing for MONTHS! When we arrived at the Eiffel Tower, I jokingly texted our friends saying, "We're going up in the Eiffel Tower, is he gonna propose?" We got to the top of the tower and Noah told me to pretend to point at something in the distance for a picture. I did, and when I turned around he was down on one knee. I started crying immediately and didn't even give him a chance to speak before I said, "put it on my finger!" Everyone on the platform cheered. We've never received so many well-wishes from complete strangers! Thank you to Mom, Aunt Shelly, and Noah for keeping the ring hidden for the first eight days of the trip, to Noah's parents for keeping the ring safe beforehand, and to our friends who knew Noah's plan before anyone else and still kept it a surprise for me.
