Our love story began on July 3, 2020, in Margate, NJ. AJ was there with friends from his hometown and from the University of Maryland, that he met through a close home friend. Morgan was there with her University of Maryland friends as well. Despite going to different schools, it felt like we were always meant to cross paths. After that weekend, we couldn't stop talking. Living at home after college, we spent hours every day getting to know each other. Not long after, we had our first date at The Wharf in D.C. After three hours and only one spilled margarita, it confirmed what we already knew - this was something special. When Morgan moved to NYC in July of 2021, AJ was living in NJ and visited constantly, spending nearly every weekend together until October of 2023, we officially decided to move in together in Hoboken. Morgan and AJ love spending time together in their favorite places - whether it’s relaxing in Jupiter, Florida; spending over two weeks in one of the most beautiful places in the world, the Amalfi Coast; or visiting each other’s families in their hometowns. Over the years, we've built a life full of love, laughter, and plenty of moves (including an upgrade to a bigger apartment in Hoboken!). The weekend before Thanksgiving, Morgan and AJ went down to Morgan’s hometown in Maryland. They did a day trip to Annapolis, and AJ surprised Morgan with a proposal at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Family and friends were waiting to celebrate with us, making it the most perfect and special day. Now, we can't wait to return to the same place to celebrate our wedding with the people we love most!
