What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

As most of us know, Charleston is VERY busy with heavy traffic. The ceremony is during prime rush hour time so please be considerate of this when coming to the wedding. We recommend arriving at the church at least 30 minutes early. This will give you ample time to greet other guests and be comfortably settled before our 4 PM ceremony begins.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available for both the ceremony and reception, with some important considerations. The Church on Daniel Island offers ample parking for guests. For the reception at The Ruins in Beresford Hall, parking is more limited. There's a small gravel lot with approximately 10 spaces directly adjacent to the venue. We recommend carpooling or using rideshare services to minimize parking challenges. Street parking is also permitted if needed.
