We met back in middle school, I was an 8th-grade class assistant, and that's where I first crossed paths with Mark, who was a 7th-grader. It might sound like an unlikely start to a love story, but middle school had a way of bringing surprises into our lives. Our very first date in high school was a comedy of errors. We had planned to dine at Buffalo Wild Wings, but when we got there, a daunting 2-hour wait awaited us. We weren't about to let that get in the way of our night, so we decided to grab a quick bite at Chick-fil-A instead. We even had time left for an impromptu visit to the Mission Inn to enjoy the festival of lights, turning the evening into an unexpected adventure. Now, the proposal story is something that still makes me laugh. Mark had orchestrated an elaborate plan, even getting my boss involved to trick me into thinking I was attending a work meeting at a winery. Little did I know that it was all part of Mark's grand scheme, which ended with a heartfelt proposal, making me the happiest person alive. We share a passion for food, and our love for culinary adventures keeps our journey exciting. We're avid foodies, always on the hunt for the next delicious dish to savor together. As we step into the adventure of marriage, our future is a canvas waiting for us to fill it with laughter, shared moments with our beloved dog, Kylo, and endless explorations of new places and flavors. Our love story is a masterpiece in the making, rich in humor and heart, and we can't wait to see where it takes us.
