We're getting married & you're invited!
4:30 pm - 5:00 pm
The Jolly Trolley will transport guests from the hotel to the beach for our wedding ceremony. The shuttle is scheduled to make multiple trips, as required, to get everyone to the ceremony on time. Guests are able to walk the three blocks southeast from the hotel to Collins Avenue Beach on the ocean side if preferred.
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Might consider bringing an umbrella, raincoat, or ponchos. Ceremony will be rain or shine commencing between 5:15 & 5:30.
5:45 pm - 6:15 pm
The Jolly Trolley will transport guests from the beachside ceremony to the Lighthouse Cove Event Center. The shuttle is scheduled to make multiple trips, as required, to get everyone back to the hotel for the reception. Guests are able to walk the three blocks northwest to the Event Center if preferred.
6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Weather permitting, we will start things off with a crush bar and passed appetizers on the deck along with live music by Bryen O'Boyle. Inside the event center will be various food stations, high top tables and a full bar.
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
We highly recommend stopping here for the best breakfast in Dewey and a bloody before you head out of town. The bride & groom will make an appearance the morning after the ceremony to thank all of those that made the trip out for their wedding. Enjoy!
Saturday October 11th is OktoBOARDfest 2025 starting at 1pm! The band will be back and the beers will be flowing as we polka the day away. Polkadelphia will be back again this year for tunes and yes, we will be dressing in dirndls and lederhosen (optional but definitely more fun!)
This is one of our favorite spots in Dewey to have a drink, listen to music and watch the sunset. Live music starts Saturday October 11th @ 1pm and continues through the evening.
Decade 80 will be playing Saturday night starting at 8pm. They are a Delaware-based band that has become a musical phenomenon, claiming to "own the 80s." They are known for their bold and electrifying performances that transport audiences back to the energy and dynamism of the decade. The band's fanbase, known as Headband Nation, is a testament to their popularity and the enduring appeal of their music. Decade 80's concerts are not just about the music; they are an experience that brings together fans of all ages, creating a vibrant community around their shared love for the 80s music scene.
Jenni Schick will be performing live music Saturday October 11th at 9pm at Jimmy's, our favorite place for live music, chicken wings, pretzel bites and beer. She is the ultimate entertainer. Whether she's hosting karaoke, playing cover shows or performing original music, it's always an amazing performance.
If you love crab cakes, you have to try Woody's during your stay in Dewey. Woody's Dewey Beach has been serving the best crab cakes and burgers at the beach since 2009. Located at the heart of Dewey Beach, the friendly staff is here year-round to provide great service and our award-winning food in a fun and friendly atmosphere!
Want to know where you can watch the early games on Sunday before the festivities begin? We suggest the Lighthouse, Jimmy's Grille and or The Starboard. All establishments are within walking distance of the Hyatt Place, offer full bar and food menus and multiple TVs. Just don't miss the Jolly Trolley for transportation to the beach ceremony starting at 4:30pm.

We want our guests to be comfortable first and foremost. We are suggesting coastal casual attire, but the choice is absolutely all yours. For consideration, the ceremony is on the beach; shoes (or no shoes) for walking in the sand are recommended. The reception will be both indoors and outdoors. Choose your footwear accordingly or bring multiple pairs. Don't forget your umbrellas, raincoats and ponchos...just in case.
We are not registered anywhere. We are kindly requesting "NO GIFTS". Your attendance is our gift. We are looking forward to having everyone join us for our special day.
