We met in what some may call a crazy turn of events, but we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! In March of 2022, in Scottsdale, AZ, while I was on a bachelorette trip, my friend, Kelsey, and I decided to go out adventuring and left the house the last night and we ended up at El Hefe, what seemed like a good old town “establishment”. Mike happened to be there working one of his many “side gigs” to keep himself busy. Mike claims he was super impressed by my dancing skills, but realistically he says it was my ability to bring my empty drinks back to the bar, something he says never happens there. By the end of the night, he decided asking for my Snapchat user name was the way to go rather than my number. I of course didn't think much of it at the time, but we started talking nearly everyday... that was until I sort of “ghosted” him for nearly six months, but he gave me my space, while still cautiously pursuing me. I'd say his hard work paid off because look at where we are now! He came to visit me in Louisiana in January of 2023 and well... here we are! We are super excited about what the future has in store for us and our family, and can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of our family and friends!
