How we met
We first started talking on Hinge, a dating app a few months prior to finally going on a first date. Molly was going to Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) at the time, and Daniel was six months into his new job and adjusting to living in Indiana, PA. We were both getting really tired of the whole online dating scene and finally went on our first date in October of 2022 where we went to eat at Iron Rock for dinner then to see Halloween Ends. After a little while, ski season had arrived. This was the moment that Daniel's parents knew this relationship would last. Molly kept up with Daniel on skis, which is very hard to do in the Clark household. Fast forward to April 2023 to where the first test would come in our relationship. Molly wanted to text her parents saying that she was going to move in with Daniel officially upon graduation in May. Daniel told her that she really needs to call them to tell them which won big brownie points in Daniel's favor. After living together for a little while, Daniel proposed on Father's Day weekend in June 2023. We had a longer engagement and are now ready to tie the knot. Why Deep Creek Lake for Wedding?
Answer
One of our earlier dates was to WISP Resort to go skiing. This is such a special place to us, in fact, that Daniel proposed on the boat at Sunset in June of 2023. We want to finish of the whole process where our favorite moments have happened.

Is the wedding inside or outside?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be outside. The ceremony is going to be on the dock below the Cabins of the Sunset Village. The Reception is going to be on a grass field under a tent looking over the lake. There is a plan in place in case it does rain.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
High heels are strongly discouraged. Western attire, sundresses, wedges, flats, nice sandals and cowboy boots are what we recommend.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Please do not bring your kids as this is a 21+ wedding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Parking is limited for the ceremony. Would recommend car pooling down and parking across the street from the lake. For the reception, please park by your cabin and walk down to the reception area as parking is even more limited.
