FAQs

Question

What does "Cowboy Chic" mean?

Answer

We don't really care if you want to show up looking like a Rhinestone Cowgirl or an Old West oil man. But generally some ideas: suits, boots, cowboy hats, belt buckles, leather, turquoise jewelry, rhinestones, fringe, embroidered florals, prairie dresses, bolos, pearl snap shirts, and Western wear.

Question

Where can I grab some good grub around town?

Answer

Ojai Rotie, Hip Vegan, Farmer & the Cook, The Dutchess, Tres Hermanas, Pinyon, Ojai Tortilla House, The Nest.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Even though we haven't met some of your kids and would love to, we want to make sure you'll be able to properly party with us for the weekend, so we prefer you leave the youngins at home for this campout. If not bringing your kids means you can't come, then we can work it out! We could even connect you with others who may need a babysitter share in Ojai.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

Yes. But we prefer that Totem is the only dog-of-honor at the actual wedding. Dogs are not allowed at the pool at OJAI RANCHO INN.

Question

Are you providing transportation to the wedding?

Answer

No transportation provided for Friday night festivities, but the Ojai Valley Brewery is within walking distance of most things downtown. For Saturday, we are providing shuttles that will be taking guests from the ceremony and cocktail hour at Ojai Rancho Inn to the reception and party 4 minutes up the road at Ojai Deer Lodge starting at 7pm. DO NOT attempt to drink and drive in Ojai... cops will pull you over.

Question

Is the wedding venue within walking distance from town?

Answer

No. We suggest you take the provided shuttle if you plan to drink.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes! See above funds on this page. Contributions are welcome but NOT required. We know weddings are expensive to attend.

Question

Are you sending a paper invitation in the mail?

Answer

Only to family. Sorry y'all!
