Sometimes love unfolds quietly in life’s simplest moments—but Mitchell and Allison’s journey has been anything but ordinary. On November 23, 2016, Mitchell asked Allison to be his girlfriend at the Regal Movie Theatre in South Park Mall in Colonial Heights. They watched Moana, marking the beginning of their first official date and the start of a relationship that would continue to grow in strength and devotion. Allison supported Mitchell throughout his athletic pursuits in soccer and volleyball, later cheering him on as he continued volleyball at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland.
