We look forward to seeing you at the Wedding
Sometimes love unfolds quietly in life’s simplest moments—but Mitchell and Allison’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Even before meeting Mitchell, Allison once shared that the next person she dated would be the one she would marry. What felt like a joke at the time would soon become a remarkable reality. Mitchell and Allison first crossed paths at N. B. Clements Jr. High School in Prince George, Virginia. When they met, Mitchell was 13 years old and Allison was 14 years old. Although initially introduced at a football game, their friendship truly began later that year at a Halloween party. From that evening forward, they formed an immediate connection—spending countless hours talking, laughing, and getting to know each other more. In the weeks leading up to their relationship, Mitchell attended a bonfire at Allison’s home, where she had gathered friends from both of their circles. What began as a casual night with friends turned into a memorable evening, followed by stargazing on the trampoline as they spoke about life and their hopes for the future. Allison was drawn to Mitchell’s warmth, humor, and above all, his kind and genuine heart. On November 23, 2016, Mitchell asked Allison to be his girlfriend at the Regal Movie Theatre in South Park Mall in Colonial Heights. They watched Moana, marking the beginning of their first official date and the start of a relationship that would continue to grow in strength and devotion. Their time together was filled with shared experiences—dinners, outings, and quiet evenings—always wishing for just a little more time together. Over the past nine years, Mitchell and Allison have navigated life’s many milestones side by side. Together, they celebrated homecomings, prom, school graduations, first cars, and first jobs. Allison supported Mitchell throughout his athletic pursuits in soccer and volleyball, later cheering him on as he continued volleyball at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland. They also faced challenges with resilience and unity, including the loss of loved ones and pets, as well as the uncertainty of a global pandemic. Through every season, their faith deepened, guiding their growth both individually and as a couple. Today, Mitchell and Allison’s life is enriched by the simple joys they share. They are devoted pet parents to their beloved Pomeranian, Asher, and enjoy time at home creating traditions together—including Allison’s love of baking chocolate chip cookies. They also maintain a keepsake box filled with mementos from the earliest days of their relationship, a cherished reminder of the journey they have shared. On November 23, 2025, Mitchell and Allison celebrated their ninth anniversary in Luray, Virginia. That morning, Mitchell surprised Allison with a sunrise drive along Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park—exactly nine years after asking her to be his girlfriend. As the sun rose, Mitchell proposed, marking the beginning of their next chapter together. The celebration continued with a visit to the Luray Caverns, making the day both meaningful and unforgettable. From junior high beginnings to nearly a decade of shared growth, faith, and commitment, Mitchell and Allison’s love story is built on trust, perseverance, and devotion. As they prepare to say “I do,” they are filled with gratitude and joy and look forward to celebrating their wedding day surrounded by family and friends.
