FAQs

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know asap if you have any dietary requirements.

Question

Is there transport available?

Answer

We ask that you make your own way to the wedding, there will be parking available in the paddock - please car pool where possible (this will help for collecting cars on Sunday!). There are no taxis/ubers in Taumarunui but a shuttle will be running throughout the night to get you back to your accomodation.

Question

Are you having a day two?

Answer

We will most definitely carry on the celebrations on the Sunday so if you can stick around then please do. We will provide more details closer to the time re location and time.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Adults only please!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire, but with it being a garden wedding we recommend comfortable footwear to wear on grass. Footwear needs to get you safely in and out of portable toilets also. Taumarunui weather at this time of year can be unpredictable - bring an extra layer for the evening as temperatures will likely drop off.

Question

Where is best to eat?

Answer

Just like accomodation, restaurants are limited! Breakfast/Lunch: Cafe 75 / Jasmine's Cafe & Thai Restaurant / Blue Hill Cafe Owhango Coffee: Trunk Coffee house / Coffee cart located at 24 Hakiaha Street Dinner: Jasmine's Cafe & Thai Restaurant / Monsoon Indian

Question

We've had a few people ask about wedding gifts...

Answer

The most important thing to us is having you with us to celebrate our day. If you do wish to give a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon would be much appreciated. WESTPAC M JACOBSON 03-1557-0234378-001
