Things To Do

If you plan on visiting the attractions Houston has to offer, just remember that everything is spread out. You will need a car should you make the most of what Houston has to offer. Our favorite things are: NASA, Museum of Fine Arts, The Natural Science Museum, and the Houston Zoo

FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

March 10th

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The venue has an abundance of parking on-site in the gravel parking lot.

Question

Can I bring additional guests?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited venue capacity, we can only allow those names on the invitations.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children named on the invitations are invited.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors. In the event of bad weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal attire.

Question

What kind of shoes should or shouldn’t I wear?

Answer

Our reception will be indoors and there will be plenty of dancing so keep comfort in mind.

Question

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride—whites, ivories, and creams.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. This just means that we kindly ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we want you to be present with us in those special moments. And we’ve hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments and we’d hate to have a well-meaning person’s phone/device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want!
