We met at a Super Bowl party through mutual family friends when we were kids. Through the years there were various events such as a weekend cabin trip, super-bowl parties, new years eve parties and more that we would see each other and hang out. In August of 2018 we had our last cabin trip we had exchanged info, started texting and then we started dating. Our first date was homecoming at Mikayla’s high school.

After being stressed at work Ryan asked Mikayla on a whim if she wanted to take a road trip to Columbus, Ohio and walk around an outdoor shopping center. We walked, shopped, and ate lunch. Before we left we stopped at a fountain and made a wish. When we got home Ryan said he wanted to take more pictures of us, so we both set up or phones and Ryan got down on one knee. Mikayla started crying immediately and said “YES”! We are so excited to have all of our friends and loved ones be there to help us celebrate the beginning of our next chapter!
