HOW WE MET

Rikard & Mieke were both studying in Stellenbosch and this is where their paths crossed. Rikard was 3rd year and Mieke 2nd year when they met. They thought it was at a Simonsberg huisdans (they were not each others dates) but later on realised they actually met earlier at a mutual friends baptism. A few months after meeting Rikard asked Mieke to the Simonsberg MET dance, after going for a quick coffee Mieke agreed to go with him. There was an instant connection and the rest is history. Accommodation

There is accommodation for all our guest on the farm. Please let us know if you would like to book this accommodation, we will then send you a list with options & prices. Please note that all accommodation is self catering. We wil provide coffee, tea, sugar, water & rusks. Lunikhy offers Clay pigeon shooting as well as game drives for anyone who would like to come for the weekend (if you would like more information, please let us know). You are more than welcome to arrive on the Friday and spend the weekend with us.

Yes, there is parking for all guests. The ceremony and reception areas are within walking distance from each other. Please look at the Map provided above for more information - main parking is at the chapel. If your are staying on the farm you can also follow these guidelines.

For Canapés : There will be non-alcoholic & Alcoholic refreshments to enjoy. For Reception : There will be wine, champagne and water on the table and a cash bar for anything else.
