We want to take a moment to thank everyone for making our wedding such a magical day! We love you all and appreciate you sharing the day with us.
Groom
We will be celebrating this day with our family as our attendants.
Bride
Michael’s attendants are described by him and my attendants are described by me. Read below each attendant and get to know more about our family.
Maid of Honor
Arial is Michael’s daughter. I have always wanted to have a daughter and am thrilled that Arial will be my official step- daughter. She has been a wonderful blessing in my life. I have truly grown to value and appreciate her insight, opinions and support. Arial is an intelligent young woman who is wise beyond her years.
Bridesman
Jackie is my elder son, my first blessing of two from God. Jackie has been as gentle, loving and gracious as his namesake Poppy Jack (Jackie Maddox who is home in heaven). Jackie will be home from Japan to spend this important celebration with the family.
Best Man
Christian is my oldest son. I have many special memories of our times together bonding. Christian shaped my world and made fatherhood a deeply meaningful experience for me. He now has his own family and shares those deep connections with his children. I’m very proud to have him here all the way from Missouri on this important day for our whole family.
Groom’s Matron of Honor
Ashly is my daughter in law, Christian’s wife. She has been a wonderful wife to my son and a devoted mother to her children. There’s nothing she would not do for her family and I simply understand that motivation. I am proud to see the devotion my son and she have to each other and their family.
Groomsman
Brandon is my second eldest son. He is big hearted, cares deeply for his family and is an “ old soul.” Brandon is most like me in that his love runs deep and is passionate. Brandon values personal and familial growth which he himself exemplifies.
Bridesmaid
Jasmyn is Michael’s son Brandon’s girlfriend. Jasmyn is a part of our family and is like a second daughter to me. I am so blessed to have her wit and humor every day in our home. Jasmyn has the ability to say the very thing I’m thinking and often she just makes me giggle!
Groomsman
Dylan is my youngest son. He is gentle, loving and kind until you hear him gaming. Then he is passionate and fierce. Dylan values harmony and is proud of the way his family stays strong and reconciles despite the challenges.
Bridesmaid
Cambria is my first granddaughter, by marriage (soon that is). Cambria is Christian and Ashly’s daughter whom I had the opportunity to meet most recently when our families merged for a six month period. Who knew we would have so much in common: a love of leaning, reading and cheerleading! I’m proud to be her step-grandmother but I’m sort of glad she doesn’t call me “grandma.”
Groom’s Attendant
Trenten is my grandson, Christian’s son. Trenten is full of energy and curiosity. I love to see my son’s devotion to this developing young man and passing on the lessons he has learned in our home to Trenten.
5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Light refreshments and cocktails will be available but we will not be serving dinner during the reception. We recommend you grab a bite to eat before coming.
As much as we adore all the family children, the historic venue is better suited for adults. Thus we included guests 18 and older.
Yes there will be an open bar. We encourage you to bring anything specific you might be hoping for. Otherwise soft drinks, water, mixers, wine, beer, and select liquors will be available.
No. We will see on on the day of the wedding and are looking forward to seeing you then.
Yes! We decided to make this easy for you. Please find the location on our home page: The Inn at Centre Park, Historic District of Reading, PA.
On street parking is available directly in front and across the street (alongside the Park) from the Inn at Centre Park. Limited off-street parking is available in the rear. Carpooling is recommended to reduce need for spaces.
Weather is unpredictable. However we intend to have a brief outdoor ceremony. Dress accordingly. The Bridal Party will be dressed in traditional gowns and suit vests; so we politely ask you to consider the occasion as semi-formal.
Your presence is our gift! We don't really need anything except time together. If you would like to gift us anything, please navigate to our registry page where you can donate to our honeymoon fund or other fun ideas.
Of course! We probably didn't need to say this because everyone knows we love to dance. However just in case you were wondering if you should be bringing your dancing shoes: the answer is yes!
Due to the age of the Inn, accessibility is relevant to only the front entryway, where a ramp will be provided for guests.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, all things have become new! So the Bride will be wearing white.
