We are overjoyed to share the exciting news that we have eloped! Now, as we bask in the bliss of our newlywed status, we couldn't be more excited to celebrate with our loved ones. We were married at the Travis County Courthouse on April 20, 4 years to the day of when we first met. We were joined by both of our moms and Claire as our witnesses for the exchanging of vows. The next day we flew to Mandarina, Mexico for a 10-day honeymoon. I (Kayla) was able to wear the wedding dress I found with my mom on the beach where we had an intimate ceremony between the two of us. Both occasions were meaningful and elegant, and after trying to plan an elaborate ceremony, eloping was ultimately the most "us." While our journey to this point may have been a little unconventional, our love and commitment to each other are stronger than ever. Each and every one of you has played a significant role in shaping our lives and our love story, and for that, we are eternally grateful, so while we aren't a grandiose wedding couple, we do love to host a good party and look forward to toasting with you on September 30th.
