We met on the last day of 2021 and bonded through our bookish and outdoor interests. We both love learning new things and share an appreciation for the old and the beautiful. When we're not hiking together, we're probably planning our next outdoor adventure, attempting to dance, watching a quirky movie, or eating (Chelsey's) homemade pancakes.

We're traveling to Sucia Island (in the San Juan archipelago) with our immediate family members to say our vows on the afternoon of August 12th!

We'll be celebrating with a quiet post-ceremony dinner and weekend stay with our families in a big house on Orcas Island. Even though we're keeping the wedding very small we want to share our good news and our photos with all of our friends and extended family. For our Seattle friends, we plan to throw an informal post-wedding party, probably at our home, sometime in the fall, so stay tuned!
