Our story is far from perfect, but it is a true testament to how good God is. We met in the world, living in ways that did not honor Him. At the time, Bry was already a mom, and from the beginning, Mike stepped in and loved her child as his own. Life did not look traditional for us, and we faced our share of challenges, but through it all, we stayed and chose each other. Along the way, we were blessed with two more children, and our family continued to grow. Everything began to shift when Bry gave her life to God and began fasting and praying for our relationship, asking Him to make things right. The very next month after fasting, God answered that prayer when Mike proposed. With a strong desire to honor God, we chose to elope and commit ourselves to each other before Him, even without a wedding. Now, a couple of years later, we are standing here, renewing our vows before God. This season represents more than just a celebration. It is a commitment to friendship, love, unity, selflessness, and choosing each other every single day.
