You know how your parents always told you to never talk to strangers you meet online? Well thats just what we did. We met and began talking on the dating app Hinge on May 4, 2022. We instantly felt a connection with each other after speaking about our past failed relationships and realized we were exactly what eachother was looking for. May 7, 2022 we had our first date. The River Road Tavern for lunch and bowling after. Mike being the "skilled bowler" that he is, walked in with a bag, his own bowling ball and his own pair of shoes, which we still make fun of him for to this day. A few dates later, on May 15, 2022 we made it official as a couple. Our families have taken each other in with open arms since day 1. Fast forward to December 3, 2022 where we move into our first place together! At this point, we had been driving back and forth to each others houses every weekend, so it was time to get our own place! Almost a year later, November 11, 2023, Mike proposed in the kitchen of our home. It couldn't have been more perfect. Just us. We spent the day celebrating, already talking about what kind of wedding we would have and how long we were going to wait to get married. Fast forward to today.. and here we are. A last minute wedding, at the perfect venue, with our closest friends and family by our sides. No one tells you how excited you will be to plan a wedding and get married to the one!
