We recommend flying into Cape Town airport at least 5 days prior to the wedding. Uber is available in all areas but we recommend getting a rental.

There are accommodation options on the farm, make sure to book in advance!

Swim with penguins at Boulders Beach! The secret beach is called Middle Beach and is located at the back end of the nature reserve.
A vibey breakfast/early lunch spot on the coast! Lots of options and cute for shopping local trinkets. Get there early for a table! Also open on Wednesday evenings for sunset.
Spend the day on these incredible beaches! There are several amazing restaurants along the beaches too including: Bungalow, Cafe Caprice, Tigers Milk, Chinchilla and Mantra (one of our favourites)
Start the day early with a hike up Lions Head! Approx 1hr up and 45mins down. Incredible views of Cape Town. Make sure you take water and snacks for the top!
Rent a car and drive Chapmans peak drive, the view points are unreal! Option of stopping at Chefs Warehouse Tintswalo for a tasting meal (one of our favourites) or Noordhoek Market at Cape Point Vineyards.
Great for all times of the day! There’s the option of a cold plunge in the rock pools or a sunset picnic at Saunders Beach too which are both a must.
For the culture and history lovers, take the ferry over from V&A to Robben Island for a tour of the prison which Nelson Mandela spent 27 years at!
Hop on the hop-on-hop-off wine tram in franschhoek, make sure you book in advance and start early and we recommend the orange line or the purple line! It’s a great way to see the vineyards and experience the culture.
There is Uber everywhere in the city but we would recommend renting a car! You can rent one at the airport.
Try plan to be in the city around the 22nd October to firstly, see the city and secondly, because we will be planning a welcome event in Cape Town before the festivities begin!
Yes! We would recommend booking accommodation in Cape Town (Sea Point, Green Point, BoKaap, Camps Bay, Bantry and City Centre are all great options) during the week and then book in Franschhoek from Friday onwards.
The farm itself does have accommodation but it is pricey, we would recommend getting accommodation no further than a 15min drive away. There will be shuttle transport options on the night too!
It should be moderate. There’s some sunny hot days as well as cooler rainy days so make sure you bring your cozzy and a jumper!
