Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Michaela Campbell and Colin Persons
Late August is a great time to be in the Twin Cities. The wedding is easily accessible from Minneapolis, or St. Paul. Colin is a rare Twin Cities person without a favorite. Michaela has learned to love both cities over the past 5 years, but slightly prefers St. Paul, as it lies on the more familiar (eastern) side of the Mississippi. • Minnesota State Fair For those that have never been, it is a spectacle. Form corn art to petting baby animals, pronto pups to cheese curds, if you are in the Twin Cities while it’s running, you should go. • Science Museum of MN Colin and Becki (Colin’s mom) both worked here, great museum for those with kids in tow and those without. • Walks/hikes/rides/drives: Summit Ave. St. Paul: longest stretch of Victorian era homes in the USA. Runs from downtown St. Paul to the Mississippi. Mississippi River Blvds: Nice pedestrian paths. Minneapolis Chain of Lakes: Paths run through interconnected lakes, rent a paddle board, boat, bike and enjoy.
