Bus to and from Hobart to the Wedding
December 12, 2026 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
A bus will be picking up guests from a centralised location in Hobart and taking them to the Wedding. Although it is still TBC, the bus will likely leave at 2:45pm for a 4pm start. The bus will then do a drop off from the Wedding back to Hobart, leaving the venue at 10:15pm. Alternatively, you can utilise Uber or there is plenty of parking should you wish to drive yourself.

The wedding will be taking place at Derwent Estate Vinyard which is a short, 27 minute drive from central Hobart. For guest who are travelling and require accommodation, we recommend you stay in the below areas: - Hobart - North Hobart - Battery Point - Sandy Bay

Is the wedding adult only?
Answer
In order to let everyone, including parents, fully let their hair down, we respectfully request no children under the age of 15 be at the wedding.

What do I wear?
Answer
The dress code is cocktail! It will be the start of summer, but you'll also be in Hobart, so its best you pack something to keep you warm, but that you can take off when you no doubt heat up the dance floor! The ceremony will be taking place on grass so we strongly encourage you shy away from stilettos!

Will there be food?
Answer
Of course! There will be light refreshments between the ceremony and reception and then dinner and more drinks will follow!

Amazing food, local, hand made goods and for some reason - a lot of fudge? Salamanca Markets are a must! It's on every Saturday morning so be sure to add this in to your itinerary!
Cascade Brewery
If it can't entice you with the beer, the food is also very, very good! Highly recommend doing the full tour also!
Battery Point
It's beautiful and home to many good cafes! Grab a coffee and croissant to go and have a wander around all the lovely historic streets!
