We will be boarding the Solaris at the Baytowne Wharf for both the ceremony and reception, it is about a 100 yards from land via pier. The Solaris Yacht is located on the bay side of the resort, and within walking distance from accommodations at the Grand Complex, Village, Le Jardin, and Fisherman’s Village. The Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort offers SunQuest couples and their guests a 10% discount when staying at select accommodations at the resort when you book directly on Sandestin.com using code SOL24. The captain recommends guests avoid wearing stiletto heels as they commonly get stuck in between the planks on the dock. The captain also highly recommends giving yourself ample time to park if you’re driving to the venue- as Saturday nights can be busy and the Solaris will leave the wharf at 6:45 pm sharp! The main deck is Handicap accessible the remaining decks can be accessed via stairs. Please let the Bride or groom know if you or a loved one is in need of golf cart transportation down the dock, we know it is a long walk and want to make sure you are taken care of! The vendor does not allow outside food or beverage of any kind on the vessel, so throw away any drinks before boarding! It is really important to us that the ceremony is “unplugged”, we just ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony as we will have a photographer capturing the moment for us!
