We first met in 2023 at a media-and-missions conference in Hyderabad called 'Zero.' Mercy was there with her church, and after getting to know each other, we quickly realized our aspirations in life aligned. What stood out to me (Nithin) the most was Mercy’s unwavering commitment to putting God above everything else—her faith was so inspiring. She’s intentionally generous, loves people deeply, and is pure magic around children. (Nithin) I asked Mercy out in the middle of last year, but I wasn’t sure how to do it, so I wrote her a letter. It took her about 8 months to respond, but when she did, it was with the most beautiful message saying that she felt the same way about me. (Mercy) From my side, I’m grateful for the way God led us, even through those months of waiting. Despite our shortcomings, God worked in His perfect timing through it all. Now, as we take this next step together, we are both filled with gratitude for the journey we’ve had and the beautiful road ahead. With Jesus at the center, we can’t wait to begin our forever!
