How we became best friends: Scott and Melissa met on Facebook through mutual friends, initially exchanging messages and liking each other's photos. Scott eventually asked Melissa for her phone number, and after many months of lengthy conversations, the connection was undeniable, and they met up at Tequilla Jacks in Long Beach for a friendly dinner outing. After dinner, they walked along the gorgeous Harbor Shoreline, leaning close to each other and energetically drawn to each other. In 2018, the two agreed they had mutual feelings of attraction and were ready to commit to spending more time together and exploring the potential for a deeper relationship. Over the next two years, they encountered many health and lifestyle challenges, including the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, which tested their patience and strengthened their love relationship. 
They motivated each other, overcame challenges, and fulfilled the dream of first-time homebuyers. Three years later, on December 25, 2021, while exchanging gifts with daughters Alley and Janae, Scott surprisingly proposed to Melissa, and Melissa willingly accepted, promising to marry each other. They were ecstatically happy that their lives were moving forward in a valued life direction. They share many likes, including barbecuing, cooking, entertaining, traveling, and enjoying football Sundays. They have three dogs: Spencer, Astro, and Kia, and three cats: Oscar, Mel, and Katey. Their first vacation was to Laughlin, and every chance they get to escape the day-to-day routine, that is their go-to spot. Melissa and Scott are excited to celebrate this special day with family and lifelong friends and would be honored to have your presence and participation in Laughlin, Nevada.
