How we met
We fell in love before our first date at Sportsman's Bar. Love at “first text”—a Millenial love story ignited by Hinge. Our first date was February first. Within three days we moved in together and got engaged. We could try to rationalize and explain, but why? When you know, you know. That’s why, Wir Zwei. It took us more than 3 decades to find each other, slowly orbiting with lots of closely missed connections. A Venn diagram of rings of friends, favorite places, DJ’s, stinky foods, dive bars, and a penchant for aesthetics. We will join forces on the Summer Solstice—the longest and brightest day of the year. 🌞 🦔 💕💍🦔 🌈💫💃🏻🕺🏻

This is an outdoor event, dress with flair and be prepared for the weather. We are on the grass, so be aware that it might be hard to walk in high heels. If you’re from Chicago, bring a blanket to sit on ;)
You should be able to park on Luis Monuz Marin Dr, right next to the location where our little ceremony will take place.

Join us for drinks and small bites on the patio of the bar where we met and fell in love! Tamales will be served from the one and only TAMALE GUY—a Chicago legend!! *Cash or credit accepted at the bar. Must be 21+. For those of you with a car: You can park for free next door on the parking lot of 5/3 Fifth Third Bank. They are OK with people parking there after 5pm. Hotels are crazy expensive - we suggest booking an airbnb. Our address is 2111 N Mozart - so you have a reference for location.

We love that you are coming to our wedding. We don’t want anyone to feel like they have to dress a certain way. If you wanna dress up: perfect. If you wanna be more comfy: also perfect. Remember: It’s prob going to be hot, we’re outside and for the dance party you might want to wear something to dance in anyways. ❤️

Yes, here on Zola. There’s a few items but mostly it’s a fundraiser to pay off our expenses and maybe have some extra to go on our honeymoon to Thailand ❤️👀
