Getting here

We recommend flying in a few days before the wedding so you have time to fully acclimate to the time change, while also having an opportunity to explore a few cities in Spain. The wedding will be held in Tarragona, Spain on Thursday, October 23rd. Guests should plan to arrive in Tarragona no later than Thursday morning.

Flight

Fly to Spain

We recommend flying into Barcelona or Madrid if you plan to travel closer to the wedding date. The closest airport to the wedding venue will be Barcelona (BCN), but do not feel limited to only being able to fly into Barcelona. You could also fly into Madrid, Seville or any other Major European city.

Train

Train to Tarragona

Once you are in Europe you will need to take a train to reach the final destination of Tarragona. The closest major city to train in from will be Barcelona, which is about a 30 minute train ride.

Wedding

Semi-Formal: Suits and cocktail dresses.

The wedding will start with the ceremony in front of the venue, followed by cocktails and tapas overlooking the Mediterranean, dinner in the courtyard, and, unfortunately, dancing. Wedding Menu *Please let us know of any allergies or dietary preferences in your RSVP and we will update your meal accordingly! Starter: Salad of marinated salmon dices with caramelized apple, orange blossom jelly and fennel chutney. Main course: Iberian pork flank with Idiazábal cream, baby potatoes, caramelized pineapple with rum and muscatel wine reduction. Pre dessert: Gin tonic sorbet with green apple and yogurt foam. Dessert: Cheesecake: Cheese mousse stuffed with fruits of the forest and crunchy praline with milk chocolate and Maldon salt.

The weather in Barcelona and Tarragona during October is typically in the 60s to 70s during the day. Plan to pack at least one or two light coats in case it gets chilly at night.
