Their love story began in an unexpected place—during a new employee orientation at Fred Meyer. Patrick was recently assigned to Gateway Fred Meyer as an assistant store manager and Megan was recently hired to the Pharmacy while studying for the Oregon State Bar Exam. From the very first moment, there was a spark as they bonded over soccer (Portland Timber's and their competing Premier League teams) and beer, but the timing just wasn’t right for them to explore it. As life often does, it wove an invisible string between Megan and Patrick, bringing them together in various ways over the years. After years of social media friendship (and light stalking) and a few twists of fate, the stars finally aligned on June 27, 2023. It was then that they realized the time was finally right to embrace what had been waiting for them all along. Their bond deepened, and they discovered a love that felt both familiar and exhilarating. Now, as they prepare to celebrate their wedding, they are grateful for every moment that led them to this beautiful chapter in their lives. They can’t wait to share their special day with all of you!

Please RSVP as soon as you are able but no later than August 18th, 2025.
You will be missed! If you cannot attend, please indicate your regrets on your RSVP. If things change and you need to change your RSVP, please feel free to update us so we can plan accordingly. If we haven’t received your RSVP by the RSVP deadline, we will mark you as not attending for planning purposes.
Due to the size of the venue, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally identified on the invitation. If you received a plus one on the invitation, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are only RSVPing for yourself and your guest(s).
In our haste to prepare the invitations, the address printed on the front of the physical invitation is incorrect! Please refer to the address on the website, the label on the back of the physical invitation, or here: 24 Bz Glenwood Hwy, White Salmon, WA.
We plan to have the ceremony start promptly at 4:00pm, so arriving as early as 3:30pm for a pre-ceremony beverage and socializing before finding your seat is encouraged!
We love your kids and welcome them. That being said, if you can find a sitter, we would totally encourage you to use this as a parents’ night out!
Wear whatever works for you! Ideally something between casual and dressy, and that is appropriate for PNW October weather.
If you wear stilettos, you're going to have a bad time. The Rocky Hill Wedding and Events property where the wedding ceremony and reception will take place is largely outdoors - there’ll be grass, trees, sloping walkways, etc. No need to don your hiking or rain boots, but you will be happiest in comfortable shoes.
Unfortunately, no. The cocktail hour and evening meal will be buffet style with a good mix of vegetarian, pescatarian, and carnivorous snacks and meal options. There should be something for everyone to enjoy!
Yes! Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are on us! Hangover is on you. Please make sure to tip your bartenders.
Hotel
This hotel is 13 miles (about a 15-20 min drive) from the wedding venue.
Travel Note
Renting an AirBnb is another option we would encourage. Check in with others you know are going and maybe look into renting something together. There are lots of options out there in both White Salmon, WA and Hood River, OR.
The Hood River Fruit Loop is a 35-mile scenic drive through Hood River Valley on into Oregon. The traveler meanders in and out of more than 30 family-owned farms, orchards, wineries, and stands dotting the wayside to sample local farm produce. The Fruit Loop provides an increasing number of types of homemade products from jams, ciders, and fresh baking to local wine. The adjoining road itself provides a perfect landscape view of Mount Hood and the farmland teeming with life and is a beautiful spot for a drive.
Tamanawas Falls forms one of the beautiful waterfalls that provide visitors with a rewarding and picture-like hike. These falls are a real vista, dropping from a height of 110 feet in a basalt cliff, creating a dramatic and serene scene surrounded by lush green and towering trees. This hike to the Tamanawas Falls follows a trail 3.5 miles in length round-trip, wading in on the Cold Spring Creek through a beautiful forest of Douglas firs, cedars, and maples. It is mostly a medium-trouble trail with some rocky areas but offers a rewarding experience when one gets to the falls. The sound of rushing water becomes louder as you near the falls, and misty spray fills the air, refreshing the atmosphere.
