Maid of Honor
Nuvia and I first met in 2006, and this year marks 20 years of friendship. She’s seen me grow through every phase of life, and our love and support for each other has never wavered through every challenge life has thrown our way. She’s more than just my person... she’s my sister.
Maid of Honor
Chelsea is my oldest friend and my partner in crime since day one. From punk shows at Mr. Smalls to skipping school for a spontaneous trip to Canada, she’s been there for all the best memories (and a few questionable decisions). She’s basically my brain when mine isn’t working, and the undisputed master of “Name That Tune” when all I can offer is a few random beats and confidence. I truly wouldn’t be me without her.
Bridesmaid
Priscilla (Puss) is the kind of friend who always keeps you on your toes, in the best way. There’s truly never a dull moment when she’s around, and she has a way of making any situation feel lighter. Whether I need a good laugh, a little chaos, or someone to vent to, she’s always the one I can count on. I’m so lucky to have her by my side.
Bridesmaid
Bree was my very first friend freshman year at Waynesburg, and I’ve been thankful for her every day since. Our friendship has survived every distance from South Carolina to Italy to Amsterdam and it’s only gotten stronger thanks to the shenanigans we somehow always find ourselves in. I’ve had the honor of watching her meet the love of her life and build the most beautiful family, and I feel so lucky to have her in my life and by my side on this day.
Bridesmaid
Alavee and I met on the very first day she landed in the U.S. from Bangladesh to start school at La Roche. We’ve grown up so much together, from our crazy adventures at Zen in Pittsburgh and weekends in NYC in our 20s, to starting our families in our 30s. I’ve loved watching her fall in love with Fahad, the kindest soul. Even though she now lives across the world, our love for each other has never changed.
Bridesman
Imad is the older brother I never asked for, but absolutely needed. He’s always down for an adventure whether that means hopping in the car to drive to Detroit for Yemeni food, keeping Ocean City alive, or somehow convincing him to ride a CNG with me in Bangladesh. He also makes it his personal mission to keep me humble… and he’s very committed to the job 😂
Bridesman
Anwar and I met when I was working at McDonald’s in high school and he was starting his freshman year at La Roche. He became an important part of my life almost instantly. He’s truly the glue that brought this friend group together and has kept us strong through everything. And honestly… what would my life even be without his iconic Shah Rukh Khan performances? 😜
Bridesmaid
Urmi may have married Imad, but being my friend was truly the best part of the deal. She has been such fun presence in my life, and I’m so grateful for all the laughs especially at Imad's expense! I feel incredibly lucky to have her!
Bridesmaid
Azizah even though we’ve only known each other for a handful of years, you’ve made such a big impact on my life. You have a beautiful soul and a strength that inspires everyone around you, and I’m so grateful for the love, support, and friendship you’ve brought into my world.
