What time should I arrive?

Please feel free to arrive anytime after 3:30 pm. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm.

This will be a formal event. Please leave the flannels, the flip flops and jorts at home.

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. If inclement weather comes to join the party then we will move the festivities indoors!

Will space heaters or fire pits be available if I get cold?
Answer
Yes! Space heaters will be available during the reception. Also, if there is no red flag warning in place then we will have the fire pits going as well!

What is the typical weather like in September?
Answer
Daytime temperatures will range anywhere from the mid 60's to mid 70's and once the sun goes down you can expect temperatures ranging from the mid 50's dropping into the mid 30's overnight. Please be aware that weather in the mountains can change rapidly!

A Gondola Ride at Heavenly
Heavenly is one of the most picturesque spots around Lake Tahoe. And there’s no better place to take it all in than on a gondola ride. Hop aboard a glass cabin and enjoy a 2.4-mile long journey over Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountain range!

There are two locations! Brewery: 1920 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe, CA Libation Lodge at Tahoe Village Center: 4000 Lake Tahoe Blvd. # 26, South Lake Tahoe, CA The Libation Lodge Location: Located in the Tahoe Village Center across from Heavenly Village, The Libation Lodge is a mountain oasis taproom and kitchen featuring a full tap list including craft beer and wine, and a food menu featuring burgers, sandwiches, shareable appetizers, and more. Emerald Bay State Park
Emerald Bay State Park is an absolute beauty! There are various ways to experience the park. Including the Vikingsholm Castle, numerous trails for various ability levels and the fantastic "Inspiration Point" scenic overlook. Vikingsholm can be reached by parking in the Harvey West parking lot by Highway 89 at Emerald Bay. Take the trail, which is one mile in length and drops 500 feet in elevation to the house.

Located in a natural mountain meadow just minutes from the southern shoreline of Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada Mountain’s Lake Valley State Recreation Area, Lake Tahoe Golf Course’s spectacular William Bell-designed championship layout will inspire and delight every golfer with its breathtaking scenic views and natural habitat.
Taylor Creek Visitor Center
The visitor center serves as a hub where four fascinating self-guided trails begin. The visitor center is typically open from June through October. Fall hours begin August 29, 2025: Thursday-Sunday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Camp Richardson Corral
Camp Richardson Corral offers horseback rides through Lake Tahoe national forest. All tours are guided and at a walk. Trail rides may include beautiful views of Lake Tahoe, Fallen Leaf Lake, Taylor Creek, along with beautiful mountain meadows and forests. We also offer pony rides for the lil ones.

At Tahoe Disc Golf Adventures, we want to eliminate the struggles you face when picking up a sport for the first time, help you progress through frustration, and excel quicker at a super fun sport! We show beginners the basics and amateurs tips to improve your game — overall, we help you develop a passion that we hope will last you a lifetime. No experience needed, we provide everything, family friendly, views included!
Mount Tallac Trail
For those, who are looking to challenge themselves! This is a 12 mile round-trip hike (3,284 feet of elevation gain) with beautiful panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. The summit of Mount Tallac is 9,739 feet. Please know your physical limitations before attempting this hike! Allow yourselves 6 to 8 hours to complete the hike in its entirety! However, if you do not wish to hike all the way to the summit; there are many scenic spots to take in incredible views including two alpine lakes located directly off the trail.
