I had just deleted POF, Tami, and all the other infamous dating sites we are all know so well. When a friend of mine told me to give Facebook dating a try, I'm not really a fan of Facebook in general but personally... I wasn't ready to give up on love either. I opened the app and created my dating profile, but like always, I was engaging in short and basic conversations, scammers and many catfish. I wanted someone new, someone refreshing and fulfilling to my soul, and my energy. I stopped checking the site daily, and sadly it became a rare check in or the moments in bed when I felt the most alone, I'd check for any new faces in my inbox and yet again, failed miserably. Not sure of the exact date, but yearning for more, I got the courage to check my dating app one day bored at work and noticed I got an inbox from a beautiful NESH who followed up by telling me how unique and different the name "TELHA" is. I couldn't help but laugh in awe, not knowing this would be one of the millions of moments she makes me smile. We conversed naturally, nothing forced. And day by day her genuine presence was felt through text. During this time, I was moving and switching jobs so I wasn't consistent with the communication with her and I knew I didn't want to lose this chance of getting to know her more. So, I asked her if we could continue this via phone/text. Surprisingly she answered back that same day with her number. Ever since, I've been hooked into Darnesha's love, her warm embrace. The way she looks at me, the gently words she speaks to me and the inspiration she breathes into me. I am truly thankful for never giving up, and I cant thank her enough for shooting her shot for me.
