We met on Chisago Lakes Golf course in 2019, when Meagan's dad Mike and Michael were paired in the same grouping for the annual Ryder Cup golf tournament. After a great day, Mike got home and talked about his day on the course with Meagan. Unknown at the time, the "Mike's" would play Sunday together as well. Meagan and her mom, Jody, came out to watch and cheer on Mike. At that time Michael and Meagan got a first look of each other. While Meagan was supposed to be riding the golf cart with her parents, she decided to walk alongside Michael. Michael also won the match after 12 holes, but finished the round to spend more time with Meagan. They chatted the rest of the day. He may have bought her a vodka lemonade at the turn. ;) They have been deeply in love ever since. One dog, Two kids, and Two homes later, they are more in love than ever and so excited to share their wedding with you!

Very quickly after we started dating, we knew our relationship was going to be forever- the only unknown was when it would be official :) On Valentine's Day, 2023, we cooked a fancy dinner at home together with the kids instead of going out to eat. Right before dessert, Michael asked Ray a few questions: Michael- "Do you know that daddy and mommy love each other? Ray- "uh huh!!" Michael- "What do two people do who love each other?" Ray- "What do they do?" Michael- ::gets down on one knee:: "They get married!! I love you so much, will you marry me?" Easiest yes of my life!!! It was so special Ray and Claire were there and a part of the proposal :)
