FAQs

Question

How do I get to the welcome BBQ?

Answer

The welcome BBQ is at Watchman Campground (just inside the South Entrance to Zion National Park) at group site E007. Parking is limited so we kindly suggest parking at the Zion NP visitor center. Then it is just a short stroll over to the group campsite - there will be signs guiding you to the group campsite. If you're coming from Springdale, feel free to take advantage of the Zion Springdale Shuttle (free to ride, does not require a permit!). Hop on the Springdale Shuttle from any stop near your hotel or rental. Ride it to the Canyon Village stop (last stop on the loop) and then walk across the Pedestrian Entrance footbridge into the park — this leads directly to the Zion Visitor Center.

Question

Where is the wedding ceremony?

Answer

1143 Canyon Springs Road Springdale, Utah If driving, head north on Highway 9 (Zion Park Blvd) toward the Zion National Park South Entrance. Turn right on Canyon Springs Road and follow signs to the ceremony. The ceremony is within walking distance from LaFave, Holiday Inn, Springhill Suites, Hampton Inn.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have decided to keep our wedding events adults-only and appreciate your understanding.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire - For Women → midi dresses, jumpsuits, or separates with comfy block heels or flats. Light layers are perfect for cool desert evenings. For Men → suit or blazer with dress pants, a dress shirt + tie, and dress shoes. Jackets welcome, but feel free to lose them once the dancing starts. It typically is warm in September (high 80s during the day). Every guest is a special part of our day, and we would love for everyone to be beautifully coordinated in our photos! If able, we'd love our guests to wear desert colors (dusty rose, terracotta, forest green, etc) to create a unified look.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The hotels listed on our website are all within walking distance to the wedding and reception venue! No need to worry about parking or transportation if you are staying locally but unfortunately there is not additional shuttles or transportation to the ceremony.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If any one can appreciate a food allergy or food request, it's Meagan. Please let us know if you need special accommodations.

Question

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

We feel so lucky to already have everything we need for this next chapter. So instead of a traditional registry, if you’d like to help us kick off married life, we’d gratefully accept a contribution toward our future honeymoon. But truly, your presence is the only present we need.
