Our story starts in 2016, we first met during high school chemistry class. Jacob caught my eye, or should I say his super cool loud, and sporty car caught my eye during one of our class experiments where we were studying exhaust pollution! I am so thankful that our story didn't end there. After graduation, we went our separate ways to college. God crossed our paths once more in 2021, we reconnected on a summer boat ride with one of my best friends. I invited myself to his bonfire, and the rest is history! He invited me to his townball game the next day. On our REAL first date, we went to the drive-in movie, which would turn out to be one of our favorite recurring date nights! After a few dates, Elliana who was 7 at the time looked at me on the couch with a serious face and asked (sass included) "So are you guys boyfriend girlfriend", to which I replied, "I don't know Jacob are we?" Thanks, Ell for being our little matchmaker. We always talk about wishing we dated in high school, but find it such a beautiful testament that what God brings together is perfect in His timing. He crossed our paths once, and He crossed them again at just the right time. The past four years have been the greatest time of our lives. Some favorite memories include our adventures in Italy, drive-in movie dates, baseball games, Sunday church, camping trips, and every mundane moment in between. Of all of the things we love about our relationship, our spiritual growth is the most integral piece. Faith is our cornerstone. Building a life together with Jesus at the center is our main priority. Our faith has led us to stay resilient during the hard times and rejoice during our best times. We have the Lord to thank for it all, His hand has been on our relationship from the very beginning and will continue to guide us in every season. From the moment we met, we knew we would be in each other's lives for a very long time. Forever wouldn't be long enough.
