Unlike my other bridesmaids, Allie and I became friends in adulthood. It's a rare thing to find your people in your late 20s, and I found my person. The moment I met her, I knew I wanted to keep that bubbly personality around me all the time. She brings so much color and sparkle to our lives. Connor and I are very lucky to have such a loving friend like Allie.

Tyler has been like a brother to me for 31 years! Actually, he is my brother. He may be taller, tanner, and not as good looking as me, but he has been such an inspiration and played such a pivotal role in shaping me into the man I am today. When we were little, if you saw Tyler, you would see me following close behind. Today, even though our lives are getting busier, I know that we can always rely on each other to roast the other on a random voicemail, to shout our favorite songs together in the kitchen, and to be the best brothers we can be. As far as brothers go, he is the best one a guy could ask for.

Scotty Ferg is a heck of a guy. I met Scott in 2014 doing an icebreaker exercise where they made us get in a circle and sit in each other's laps. This awkward and humorous interaction is a perfect example of our friendship today- goofing around, always laughing, always a funny story to tell. I am more than blessed to call this man my best friend and am so thankful that he is in my life. Also, if you hear people call him "Cheese" throughout the day, yes there is a story behind it, yes, I'm happy to tell you, and yes, feel free to call him cheese as well.

When the East Coast came to explore the West Coast, they sent Benin, and I'm pretty sure he walked it. Benin and I went through college together, graduating with a degree in Wildlife Biology. Benin is a crazy dude who has walked the Appalachian trail from Maine to Georgia in no time. This guy is huge and lovable and definitely someone you want in your corner, and luckily, he's in mine. I am so grateful that he forced his way into my life- literally walking right up to our group in the Oval and asking to hangout... His friendship is one I'll keep around forever.

Tristan, "Big Country," is one hell of a friend to have. He has a been a constant, solid, caring, and passionate person since the moment I met him more that 10 years ago. A go-getter if I've ever seen one. A brother from another mother. Once this guy sets his sights on something, I'd hate to be in the way. Our lives may have brought us some distance as of late, but with this loyal friend, it's always as if no time has passed. I am so glad that he is in my life and always a phone call away.

When you and your college roommates place an ad for another roommate, you hope to find someone that fits in, someone you get along with. What we didn't expect, was someone as awesome as Elijah. We knew early on that Elijah had completed our friend group and it would last a lifetime. And here he is, standing next to me at my wedding. He was always kind of the "kid" of the group, but now, he has the most precious family and incredible career, and I am so proud of him and happy that I could be a part of his life. Just as much as I'm happy that he is a part of mine.
