When is the RSVP deadline? Can I RSVP online? What should I do if I can’t attend?

Please RSVP as soon as possible using our wedding website to secure your seat. Our formal deadline will be August 16, 2025. While we would love for everyone to witness our union and celebration we understand our timeline may not be feasible for everyone’s schedule. Please respond NO to your RSVP or let Maya/ Jamaal know as soon as there is a conflict.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into DFW Airport. If you would like to fly southwest you should fly into DAL- Dallas lovefield. For best ticketing price we recommend booking your flight atleast 6 to 8 weeks before the event. Round trip flights out of Detroit are as low as $100 right now

Have you reserved hotel room blocks for guests? How do I book?

Answer

Yes, there is a courtesy room block at the Homewood Suites in Grand Prairie at Epic Central. This host hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance to the wedding venue. We will provide a link for booking in addition to a phone number where you can call the hotel to book directly.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the venue is equipped with elevators

Is there an open bar or cash bar? What drinks will be served?

Answer

We will provide guests with complimentary drink tickets, followed by a cash bar. Only beer and wine will be served by the bar.

Are Children Invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we absolutely adore the children in your lives, we are unable to accommodate children outside of those named on the invitation of our immediate family. If you are traveling with children we may offer a baby sitting service. Please contact Maya or Jamaal with additional questions

Will transportation be provided between the hotel and the venue?

Answer

No, the venue is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Guests are more than welcome to rent a car for their transportation needs

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, guests should park in the private lot on the left when entering the epic vicinity. There will be gate access where you specify you’re attending the Thomas wedding. More instructions to follow.

Will there be other events I should know about?

Yes, we plan to have a welcome dinner on Friday evening for guests traveling in to celebrate our union. More information to come
