February 16th, 2013 — Valentine’s Day weekend. Jasmine's sorors made it a mandatory mission to step outside for a genuine ladies’ night. Fate and destiny also beckoned Maximilian to step outside with his frat, just to have a drink and fellowship. So, as the prophecy foretold, Jasmine and Maximilian crossed paths on the weekend, at The WKND. As soon as he walked through the front door, he saw the gorgeous, curly-haired woman and couldn't help but say hi! At first, Jasmine was a tad hesitant, but luckily, Max's charm worked on her friends as well. With his honest demeanor — and their push — Jasmine was willing to take a chance on the young fellow from New Orleans.
May 2015 - Some months later — including several hockey, ice skating, and queso dates — Jasmine takes a chance on Max and decides to bring him home to Kentucky. He immediately meshes with Momma and Poppa Piernas, even after being interrogated by all of Pop's army fellas. Max also learns that he and Jasmine both walked the same beach as children, in Biloxi, with their families.
June 2016 — As both Jasmine and Maximilian begin to accelerate their careers, Max makes the decision to move back to his second home, Washington, D.C. It was not an easy decision to make, but he knew it was a fair gamble in order to create the potential future he wanted for his life and, ultimately, his family. The distance was tough for Jasmine and him, but they still stayed in contact and visited each other. Of course, they couldn’t help themselves from each other!
July 2020 — With a lot of calamity happening in the world, Maximilian thinks very deeply about how he wants to pivot his life. So, he plans with Jasmine to move from Nashville to Washington, D.C. They both felt that the growth saga within Nashville was fulfilled, and it was time for her to come to the big city life to reach the next plateau of greatness. After an epic 10 hours of driving, an unexpected rental car, and a couple of rain showers, the VIP (Jasmine) arrived in the DMV and camped with her sister for about a year.
May 2024 — After a few years of living, learning, and earning together, Maximilian makes the move of asking the sweetest lady in his life to begin the journey of forever with him. Ocho Rios, rum punch, and an unprecedented road trip to Negril — Jasmine's hand is embraced with the “Will You Marry Me” stone.
