Where do I stay?

Answer

Max and Dana will be staying at Hotel Baker in downtown St. Charles. Unfortunately, Hotel Baker does not allow wedding parties to book a block of rooms so it is first come first serve. There are many hotels and Airbnbs available in Batavia and the surrounding areas so please book where you feel comfortable. There are also friends of the Vanderforest's who are willing to host guests. If you are interested please contact Kelley Vanderforest (630)-404-8733.

Can I bring a plus-one?

If the invitation is addressed to you with an "and guest" then you can bring a guest.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adult only event. Please make arrangements for your child or children if you're planning on attending.

What do I wear?

Answer

This is a black semi-formal event. Meaning, wear mostly black. White dress shirts or black and white patterned dresses are acceptable. Also, be wary of thinly-heeled shoes as this is an outdoor wedding.

Is this an indoor or outdoor wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be completely outdoors. We will have a large heated tent where dinner will be served. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held underneath the tent. An indoor bathroom will also be available to guests.

Where do I park?

Answer

Please park on the street anywhere near the Vanderforest residence. We encourage guests to carpool to reduce congestion. Please do not park in the driveway.

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4pm sharp. Guests can start to arrive as early as 3:30pm.

Will alcohol be provided?

Answer

Yes! Beer and wine will be provided at dinner and the reception. Please feel free to bring your own beverage if you'd like. There will be coolers available. Please drink responsibly and do not get behind the wheel if you are drinking.
