How It Started
We first met at a party in college, and a friend helped us narrowly avoid a missed connection--thanks Alyssa! We lived pretty far away from one another, but Adam never failed to drive down from Maine and brave the roads of I-95 in his mom-van whenever he had the chance. Days turned to months, months turned to years and we finally moved in together and got our furry child, Lucy. Lucy demanded to reside in a city, so we had a brief stint in the City of Brotherly Love: Philadelphia. COVID decided that we were having too much fun, and we moved back to Connecticut. Now, we happily live in Black Rock, where Lucy will look at - but never enter - the water. We are so excited to share our love with all of our friends and family in May!

Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Grass and gravel tend to be soft, so rethink stilettos.
The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. May can be unpredictable, so be sure to dress for the weather!
The After Party

Unfortunately, no. We love your kids, but we want our wedding to be a night for you to relax and enjoy!

Are "plus ones" available?
Answer
We are unable to offer guests a "plus one," unfortunately. We feel that our current guest size is perfect for the wedding we are looking to celebrate with everyone!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Please follow a formal dress code (tuxes + gowns to suits + elegant cocktail dresses). We highly recommend wearing block heels or wedges as you will have to walk across grass and gravel. The month of May can sometimes be unpredictable, so be sure to bring a nice jacket or sweater if needed!

Can I take photos at the wedding?
Answer
We've got this - we have hired an amazing photographer and videographer team who will capture the evening for everyone. If you really want to capture a moment in front of you, we ask that you wait until after the ceremony to do so.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is parking directly across from the venue, however we highly encourage our guests to use the provided shuttles. No drinking and thinking involved!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We will have a shuttle that transports guests to and from the wedding venue. Take a look at the "Transportation" section for more information on the shuttle arrival and departure times.
