How We Met
Our love story began at a wedding that wasn't our own! It was a beautiful snowy evening at Matt's brother’s wedding weekend, where Alexis was there to celebrate one of her best friends. But little did we know fate had something special in store for us. We met during the rehearsal dinner, sharing quick conversations that left us both curious for more. But it was at the wedding that everything truly clicked. We laughed, shared stories, danced and felt an undeniable connection. After an unforgettable night, Matt asked for Alexis' number, and just like that, a long-distance relationship from Buffalo, NY to Silver Spring, MD had blossomed. With countless late-night calls and weekend visits, we quickly realized that we were meant to be together. Eventually, Matt made the big move to Maryland, so that we could start building a life together. Now, as we look forward to celebrating our own wedding in May, we couldn’t be more excited! It feels surreal to think about all the love and laughter we’ve shared since that first meeting, and we can’t wait to start this new chapter surrounded by our closest friends and family!

We want to welcome everyone to our wedding weekend and kick off the fiesta with a Welcome Party Friday night. This is of course optional but if you are checked in and want to come say "Hola!" to the bride and groom and meet some other guests please stop by! We will be starting around 6pm!

Do I need a passport?

Will there be transportation from airport to the resort?

Yes, if you book through our room block website, transportation will be included in the room booking.

What dates do I need to book?
Answer
Our wedding is 5/25/2025 so please make sure your stay includes that date! Matt and Alexis will be checking in on Thursday, 5/22/2025 though Tuesday, 5/27/2025. Our room block is a week window of dates that we blocked off for booking. Feel free to check in earlier if you wish, we blocked off starting Wednesday 5/21, and you can stay longer too, our room block is through the following Wednesday 5/28 to let guests stay a whole week if they would like to!

Where should we stay? Grand Palladium or TRS?
Answer
This is totally up to you! All of the wedding events will take place on the Grand Palladium side of the resort. TRS is an adults only resort so if you are planning on traveling with any children you would not be able to stay on that side. We were able to visit both of the resorts, and both are very beautiful! Matt and Alexis will be staying on the TRS side but will be splitting our time to see guests on either side of the resort!
