Wedding Party

Tigana aka Crisis General

Best Man

This guy right here is deserving of the title. He has taught me so much in my teenage years, and this is why I say thank you. Tiggy is free spirit, charismatic, hilarious, jovial, ambitious, determined, has an entrepreneurial mindset, and does not let anything bother him.

Jodi

Groomswoman

My best friend since 3rd form (2004). Very jovial, free-spirited, reliable, trustworthy, and honest person.

Omari

Groomsman

To my older brother. I may not have said it, but thank you for playing a huge part in my life along with my father in showing and teaching me how to treat a virtuous woman.

Damian aka Dimz

Groomsman

The overprotective cousin who makes sure everything and everyone is doing well. Calls to check in from time to time and is very knowledgeable of EVERYTHING 😂

Sean aka Rymple

Groomsman

Friend to me from we both used to sing in the church choir at a very tender age, attending church camps together, going to parties. Rymple and I used to cuss and disagree on everything like couples, but it’s the friendship we grew up sharing and understanding that keeps us grounded as breddrens.

Mario aka Chineyman

Groomsman

My friend from growing up in the church, playing football, and attending church camps. Mario was the organiser of the group of friends (OCD) and the one to fix/DIY everything. 😂 All in all, he is very reserved, a free spirit, loves to laugh, and pretty much does not let anything bother him (lie, I tell you... sometimes he is miserable 😂).

Latoya aka Latty

Maid of Honor

She has been a close friend of the bride since 2013 and has been her best friend for the past three years. In addition to being an entrepreneur and fashionista, she is also a fantastic planner and advisor. She offers sound advice and listens well. She will cuss you out or give you the bombastic side eye for the bride so be warned. Usually, if not always, says "yes" to the bride and always rushes to her aid when she needs it. The bride holds her in the highest regard and loves her dearly.

Michael aka Mykal

Bridesman

Met the bride in 2021 and has been her bestie for almost 2 years. He is filled with stories and never short of conversations. He was always a gentleman to the bride, treating her like a princess, opening doors, pulling chairs, etc., and now the bride accepts nothing less. The only disagreement he has with the bride is when it comes to the Premier League because he supports such a team. Otherwise, they have a seamless friendship, and she loves him dearly.

Rachel, aka Aunt Paula

Bridesmaid

Aunt to the bride. The bride says she is the coolest aunt ever. Aunt Paula and the bride have such a close relationship that the bride feels comfortable sharing everything with her. The bride is never a bother to her and she goes above and beyond. They have been through trauma together and have also healed together. Memories exist of road trips and many chill flexes. As Aunt Paula is also an attorney, as is the bride, the bride often benefits from guidance from her. The bride loves Aunt Paula with all her heart.

Shanon (Twingy)

Bridesmaid

Shanon is the longest friend the bride has ever had, and even though they currently live miles away from each other, they still maintain a good relationship. Shanon met the bride in primary school, and they basically grew up together in church: singing in the choir, participating in youth events, and performing in Christmas plays. They were so closely knitted that Shanon was called “Twingy” and the bride “Twanga.”. Through their friendship bloomed a friendship between their moms as well. The bride loves her dearly and could not say “I do” without her by her side.

This video allows the couple to officially invite their guests to their wedding. It also allows for their guests to get to know them a bit and to hear their expectations for their big day.

The best "yes" of our lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Wedding Website of Samantha Wilmot and Matthew Whilby
We have created Frequently Asked Questions to ensure that our guests have all the important details at their fingertips.
Question

1. When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is March 31st, 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'not attending’. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner; we hope you can understand.

Question

2. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive at 2:45 p.m. sharp and be seated by 3:00 p.m. Thank you.

Question

3. Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Please wear formal attire in the colour BLACK. Please refrain from wearing full white. We anticipate your full energy on the dance floor, so wear something comfortable and/or bring an extra pair of shoes if you must.

Question

4. Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. We ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding.

Question

5. Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of our two flower girls. Thank you for understanding.

Question

6. Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

While we will have a professional photographer on site, you are also free to capture the moments from your view. We, however, ask that you do not post photos and/or videos on social media before we do. We also ask that the same is not done in excess to cause one to move from one’s seat during the ceremony, to stand in the aisle, or to obstruct the hired photographer. Thank you.

Question

7. Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be welcome drinks, wine, & beer during dinner and an open bar for the party! We want you to have fun, so the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!

Question

8. Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will be outside in a covered space. The reception, however, will be inside in an air-conditioned space. Please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day.

Question

9. Can I share this link with others?

Answer

No! This invitation and link are only for you. Additionally, you will realize that when you proceed to RSVP, your name will be on a list for your confirmation. Thank you for respecting our privacy.

Question

10. I have food allergies, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let the bride or groom know immediately. Thank you.

Question

11. Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
