I better go hide outside for a little bit." A few months after that: "Okay I take it back, Carl sucks." COVID: "Wait what do you mean I have to be at home with Carl all day?" Halfway through COVID: "As far as bad situations go, I don't think I'd rather go through it with anyone else. Katelyn, I mean, not Carl." A couple of years in: "When I think about my future with Katelyn, I am not scared at all. Everything clicks with us. We compliment each other in so many ways and our communication is better than I could have ever hoped for. Guess I should get off my butt and take the next step." Now: "Should we invite Spongebob to our wedding?"

I didn't know what to expect when I downloaded Bumble in 2019, entering into online dating for the first time, but I'm told that I had an abnormally lucky experience. Matt and I had our first date 2 days after I downloaded the app and a week later, I deleted the app entirely. In fact, I was so sure I found my person, I texted my friends and family the morning after our first date and said "Hey guys! So, no big deal, but I think I just met my future husband last night.
