We have reserved a room block at the Hilton Garden Inn Arlington Shirlington Hotel for the weekend, which is about a ~10 minute drive from the wedding venue. Our room block rates apply from Thursday, 10/30 to Sunday, 11/2. Please follow the link below to view the Parks-Ambrose Wedding room block rates/dates. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
The DC-area has a few airports, but we highly recommend flying into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) as it is a ~10 minute drive to the hotel and wedding venue. Additionally, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to and from DCA. Please call the hotel to schedule services (703-820-0440). Other airport options include Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?
Answer
If weather permits, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors on the 3rd floor terrace. If not, both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be moved indoors. The reception will be indoors either way!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, please wear formal attire. We ask men to wear a suit and tie and women to wear a dress, preferably avoiding shades of dark green.

What time should I arrive?

Our ceremony begins promptly at 4:00pm. Guests should arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the beginning of the ceremony.

As much as we love your little ones, we kindly request that this be an adult-only occasion. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Yes! There is free parking and complimentary valet service available.

Can I bring a guest/date?
Answer
We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. We would like to keep our wedding an intimate event. Thank you for your understanding! Please reach out with any questions.
