Peg Leg Pete's
If Eliza could take every one of you to Peg Leg Pete’s, she would. Go grab a bushwhacker (151 floater, of course) and a Riptide downstairs. When you’re done, go upstairs and snack on some crab claws and raw oysters. Eliza’s grandmother, Jane, loved the grouper sandwich. Arrrrrr mateys.
Sandshaker Lounge
Go get whacked. Order a bushwhacker with a 151 floater—as God intended. Just make sure you make it to the wedding on time. God speed, sailors.
Seville Quarter
You didn’t hear this from us but … if you find yourself on Palafox Street, go to Seville Quarter. This was one of our favorite party spots both under the age of 21 and after. When you go, do it Matt and Eliza style: park at Arnold & Wilkins, go to the piano room, take a lemon drop shot, and then go explore all of the history the building has to offer. Bonus points if you find Eliza’s Dad’s picture in the side bar by Apple Annie’s.
The Garden at Palafox + Main
Between 2011-2013 there was a 75% chance you could find us here eating burritos. Get the fried avocado. Trust us.
Jaco's Bayfront Bar & Grille
Jaco’s has been our high school prom picture spot and one of our favorite happy hour locations. We have shared small dates and big moments at Jaco’s. Go sip wine on Pensacola Bay and watch the boats come in.
The Well/Perfect Plain
Go Drink Pensacola Beer. Our favorite is the Yacht Club. Get one and take it out to Perfect Plain’s garden.
Sidelines Sports Bar and Restaurant
Through high school, college, and the years after, Sidelines has always been a favorite place for us to go with friends and family. If you’re in town on Thursday—y’all already know— it’s wing night at Sidelines. Get the Matt Craighead special: honey bbq, mild, Korean jerk, extra ranch and a Miller. Do us a favor while you’re there, ask them to get Riptide on draft.
Sneaky Tiki Bar
Bring your bathing suit to the tiki bar behind the RV Park on Pensacola Beach. It’ll make sense when you get there. We like to take the RV Margs into the water.
