Somerset is a rural farm area. Uber and Lyft are not available. Please plan on renting a vehicle if you are flying in. We recommend obtaining an E-ZPass for easy access to the Turnpike when travelling to/from Pittsburgh.

There are many great vacation rentals in the area due to nearby ski resorts. We recommend looking at Airbnb & VRBO. There will be many affordable options, in addition to hotel rooms, as September is still the skiing off-season.

Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is the closest international airport. It is about a 90 minute drive from the airport to the venue.

Where is the wedding?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held in the barn on the Homestead property.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail or Dressy Casual. PLEASE NOTE: the wedding will be held in a barn. Please do not wear a stiletto heel. We strongly recommend flats or a wide, low heel.

What will the weather be like?

September in Somerset is beautiful, it can also get a bit chilly. We recommend bringing an extra layer if you get cold easily. Heaters will be set up inside the barn as well.

Yes. Parking will be located on property in a grassy area.

Dining for the evening will be a served buffet. Please reach out to bride if you have any dietary restrictions that were not listed in your RSVP.
