Dev: It all began in 2016... when I swiped right on her picture on Dil Mil. We became best friends almost immediately (mainly because of my dad jokes). One year later, we decided to give our friendship a new title. A couple of more years passed when we finally decided it was time to introduce each other to our parents. Even though my first time was meeting more than just the parents, I literally met everyone during Christmas. After meeting them all, I immediately knew that this is exactly where I was meant to be. Fast forward to July 2022, Masoom came to visit me. We took a trip to a nice winery in Napa CA. That’s where I decided it was time. I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. It has taken close to a year to plan everything for the wedding, but here we are now, extremely excited to spend this weekend together. After nearly 7 years of hard work, laughs, tears, can't wait to share a whole lot of love with all of you! Masoom: 6 years ago…little did I know that loosing a bet to download a dating app would lead me to my absolute favorite human in the world! We realized that we balance each other out in ways we’ve never imagined…me being over dramatic and Div contently spacing out, and our Jaya and Amitabh height differences. What drew me to Div was his kind eyes that made me stop and drown out the world around me (still works like a charm). Before we knew it, we decided it was time to introduce each other to the most important people in our lives…our families. We both fell in love with each other’s families and realized how much we value that. Whenever we get asked how we’ve done the long distance, we both shrug and smile because we realize that 6 years have flown by in the blink of an eye. Yes…I totally knew when he was going to FINALLY propose. The man who lives in a sweatshirt asked to dress up and even take pictures!!! In typical us fashion, we laughed and continued our adventure of wine tasting in Napa. Crazy to think that our biggest adventure has yet to come! Whether it be getting lost in IKEA or walking around in a new city, I cannot wait to fill up our Adventure Book together with you and our sweet puppy Kona! We truly appreciate all of your support and love over the last 6 years and are so grateful to celebrate with you all with weekend filled with fun, food, dancing, and lots of love!
