After the ceremony, guests take your time and meet the bridal party back at the bride's family home. There will be a cocktail hour with light snacks and drinks. We will also have some activities such as a Polaroid table where you can take a selfie and write a note to the bride and groom in a provided book where the picture will also be placed, we will also have a fun golf activity, and corn hole.

Travel

Grand Junction has many lovely hotels especially downtown. We have many VRBO's as well. The Grand Mesa is also an option, having many lovely cabins to choose from near the ceremony.

FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We encourage all guests to wear formal attire. Formal dress code for women includes floor length gowns, tea length, as well as cocktail dresses. For men this includes suites and tuxes, please no jeans or tee shirts.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside uncovered, and the reception will be outside but covered. We recommend bringing umbrellas, coats, and a change of shoes in case of bad weather.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! We will include all children invited on your invitation. With that being said we will not be censoring our wedding. We will have explicit music, drinking, and dancing as well as cursing in some speeches. Our only ask is that if they begin to run around during important moments like the first dance and the ceremony that you try your best to keep them in their seats to prevent them from getting hurt or causing disruptions.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2:00pm so please arrive at 1:30pm, no later than 1:50, so that you can find your seats or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

Question

When should I RSVP by!

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by September 4th 2025.

Question

What should I do if I cant make it?

Answer

You will be missed! if you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tap, so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

We will be supplying alcohol but if you wish to bring your own, please act accordingly for this is the bride and groom's special night. The alcohol provided includes, bride and groom special cocktails, wine, and some beer.

Question

Can I take picture's?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony (no phones and no cameras.) The greatest gift you can give us is being present when we say I do. The photographer we have chosen will take lots of pictures and we will post those photos on the wedding website. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like. During the ceremony there will be a QR code you can scan, and it will assign you special and fun moments to take pictures of, those pictures will come all together and be visible on the app. Please do not post any pictures until the bride and groom have posted or given the ok.

Question

What should I expect after the ceremony.

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family and bridal party will be taking photos for approximately one hour. You can head to the reception after the ceremony and indulge yourselves in the cocktail hour which includes snacks, drinks, activities, and music. Dinner will be served after the first dances.
